Cold Mountain is the fourth publication by the Hamburg-based photo artist Michael Lange, who has been nationally and internationally renowned and has received numerous awards for his previous work, books and exhibitions: “Forest”, “River”, and “LA Drive-By”. Michael Lange died in January 2025. He left his archive and estate to the Stiftung F.C. Gundlach in Hamburg…. there are still two bookprojects to be realized from the archive: “Pond” and “Marine Layer”.
